  • How do I book an appointment?
When books are OPEN, you'll be able to submit a request form on the Booking page. This is a streamlined way to get all of the information I need to get your appointment booked. Once the form is filled out, you'll hear from either me or my assistant with more information on booking. If books are CLOSED, there will be no form on the Booking page. This means that my assistant and I are not handling any appointment requests/inquiries and will not be monitoring my inbox regularly. I'm focusing all of my time towards upcoming appointments and to the clients I'm already working with. Usually, books open every 3 - 4 months and you can keep up with booking announcements on my Instagram @xjoshxsxe.
  • Can I get tattooed if I'm under 18 with parental consent?
No, you must be at least 18 years old to get tattooed. No exceptions.
  • I want to book an appointment for my friend/partner/other person as a gift or surprise!
While surprising someone with a tattoo appointment sounds great, it can get tricky, so I don't allow for "third-party" bookings. To simplify the booking process and to ensure that you're getting a tattoo that you're happy with, the person getting tattooed must be the one reaching out and filling out the request form. This just helps to avoid playing a game of telephone to relay your tattoo ideas when booking.
  • What does the booking process look like?
If books are open, you'll find a Tattoo Request Form on the Booking page of my website. Please review all of the information on that form and submit your request. My assistant will get back to you via email, usually within a couple of weeks and as quickly as possible! There are usually a large number of inquiries that come in, so we always appreciate your patience! ❤️ Your email conversation with her acts as your consultation; all information is relayed to me and will be noted for your appointment. It's vital that you provide enough clear information and ask any questions you might have before you book your appointment! We want to be sure that the design I create fits what you're envisioning and that you end up with a tattoo that you love!
  • Do I need to put down a deposit?
Yes, in order to book an appointment you are required to put down a $100 non-refundable deposit. This deposit secures your appointment spot and will come off the final price of your tattoo. If you have several appointments, it will roll over and will be deducted from your last appointment. You will be sent an invoice to pay your deposit. You'll be able to pay this invoice via credit/debit card, bank transfer or Cash App.
  • What if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?
If you need to reschedule your appointment, please email pandabinge@gmail.com as soon as possible. I ask that you give as much advanced notice as possible and at least 72 hours ahead of your scheduled appointment. I do allow for a 15 minute grace period; if you're running late, shoot me an email! Last minute reschedules, showing up late (past the 15 minute grace period), no shows or cancellations will result in the loss of your deposit.
  • General deposit policies
Please keep in mind that major or last-minute changes can really have a significant effect; deposits can help to cover lost wages, drawing time and the time that may have gone to another client in the event of a cancellation or no show. So while I do try to be lenient and understanding when it comes to deposits, I do have some policies in place and you may lose your deposit for any of the following reasons (including, but not limited to): You “no-call, no-show” for your appointment, meaning you do not appear for your scheduled tattoo appointment. You reschedule your appointment without giving at least 72 hours prior notice. Canceling your appointment. If you reschedule with at least 72 hours’ notice, your deposit will be applied towards your new rescheduled date. You arrive after the 15 minute grace period from your scheduled appointment - if you are running late, please email pandabinge@gmail.com ASAP. You appear for your appointment and are clearly under the influence/inebriated If you are under the age of 18 and/or arrive without a physical, valid, government-issued ID (i.e. driver’s license or passport) Major changes to your design the day of your appointment will result in the loss of your deposit. This covers anything significant that was not discussed during your email consultation. You will need to put a new deposit down to reschedule your appointment. If you show up to your appointment with any numbing agent on without consulting with me or my assistant first will result in the loss of your deposit. You will need to put a new deposit down to reschedule your appointment. Numbing creams can have different effects on the skin, and there are specific types and brands of numbing creams I recommend. I'm definitely open to you using numbing cream, but please discuss with us first!
  • Where are you located?
I work at Black Label Tattoo Co. in Frederick, MD. The address is 126 E Patrick St, Frederick, MD 21701.
  • Can I bring a friend?
Yes, you can bring ONE friend to your appointment.
  • What's your schedule?
I work Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays by appointment only.
  • What are your rates?
My minimum is $200 and my hourly rate is $200/hour cash, $220/hour credit card (VISA, Mastercard, Discover or AMEX) or PayPal. Final prices are subject to change. Typically, tattoos are priced hourly but depending on the design, they may be piece-priced. When booking your appointment, I'll always give the closest possible estimate given the information you provide. If you do have a budget you need to stick to, please let me know when booking! I'll do my best to work within your price point - size and design may need to be adjusted to do so.
  • Can I use numbing cream?
Maybe - please be sure to bring this up when booking your tattoo. Do NOT show up to your appointment with any numbing agent on before consulting me first. You may lose your deposit and will have to put a new deposit down to reschedule. Numbing creams can have different effects on the skin, and there are certain brands that I recommend and information I'd want to review before booking.
  • Can I see my tattoo design before my appointment?
Tattoo designs are NOT shared prior to your appointment. This is one reason why it's so important to go over everything in detail during your email consultation when booking. Tattoos are permanent; I want to make sure the booking process is as easy as possible & that you get a tattoo you love! Be sure to include things that you definitely do or don't want in your tattoo design. I can make small changes and adjustments the day of your appointment but any major changes that weren't discussed during your email consultation, you will lose your deposit and will have to put a new deposit down to reschedule. It's important to research your tattoo artist's work before booking to be sure that you're choosing someone whose style is what you're looking for! I draw everything in my own style; I won't copy anyone else's work
  • I LOVE your work, do you sell merch?
